Tinctures vs. Bitters

What is the difference?

Let’s start with what a TINCTURE is — a high proof alcohol that is aged with an intentional spice, herb, flowers, fruit, or vegetable. This leaves you with a single profile tincture to elevate the flavor of your tea or cocktail and add health benefits. An aromatic tincture can be used to add a scent to your cocktail experience.

TINCTURE - a singular aromatic or flavour made from a concentrated alcohol infusion.

BITTER - has multiple tincture ingredients and contains a bittering agent.

Bitters flavor examples: citrus peel, spices, leaves and roots.
